Join us for a stroll across Hampstead Heath in the dark, An experience in it's self! But keep your wits about you (and don't go wandering off into the bushes) As its said to be regular haunt of Highwaymen and other undesirable characters..
Participate in an ancient local drinking ceremony and enjoy a COMPLIMENTARY HALLOWEEN DRINK courtesy of our friends at local craft distillery Sacred Spirits
As we navigate the tangled streets of one of London's most historic neighbourhoods, guard yourself against conspiracy theorists, cholera victims and other poor souls who met their fate in Hampsteads watering holes.
Finally lets not forget that Hampstead is also one of London’s most affluent areas, so enjoy the chance to have a nosy at some beautiful houses and listen out for scandalous tales of the many famous folk both living and dead who have made their homes here over the years….
Fancy dress is not compulsory but very much encouraged!

If you do drop us a query we will always take trouble to respond, but here are the answers to a few of the more frequently asked questions.....
is the route the same as the previous year
NO. Although we do keep a few old favourites, the route, the stories and starting point Change each year, so please read the ticket information to make sure you don't turn up at the wrong place!

is it dog friendly?
YES. we love a well behaved dog.
It is a walk after all, and all of the pubs we visit have gardens, although you may want to keep your pooch on a lead if their excitable, as we do walk across part of Hampstead heath in the dark and we also have actors popping up and doing spooky things at various points along the route.

Can i bring my teenager?
YES 16 and 17 year olds are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
It is Halloween so please feel free to fancy dress your heart out, however do bear in mind you are going for a walk in England in October: The weather as we all know can be quite unpredicable, so Please wear comfortable shoes and either bring a jacket or get some layers on under that costume!
If I've booked but cannot attend can i get a refund?
We will refund you if cancel a booking on up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of the event.
If you need to cancel a booking at less than 48 hours before the event date, you will NOT be entitled to reimbursement. However the booking may be transferred to the next suitable date, or to another person at no additional cost (e.g. you may find a friend to take your place on the tour and ask them for the money).
If we have to cancel an event for any reason Peculiar London will refund in full those who had purchased tickets prior to its cancellation.
